Barb + Wilder Engagement: Inspiration Point, Palos Verdes

Barb and Wilder are photographed at the edge of Inspiration Point in Palos Verdes on 2/15/13.

Over the summer, I hiked the trails around Portuguese Bend in Palos Verdes and I knew that the spectacular view at the cliff’s edge of Inspiration Point would make a perfect backdrop for an engagement shoot. It was a gorgeous sunny day along beautiful Southern California coastline, and Barb and Wilder were glowing as they were photographed taking a stroll around Abalone Cove.

We then made our way to Inspiration Point where they took a seat at the cliff’s edge. I worried that one foot slip would spell disaster! I also worried that the shot I wanted to get would only be possible from behind them and I would only get the backs of their heads, but Barb gave Wilder a hug and softly looked at the camera over his shoulder and I knew I had a good shot.
