Dorianna + Renato Engagement: Balboa Pier

Dorianna and Renato are photographed under the Balbao Pier in Newport Beach on 4/6/14.

I love the challenge of new locations and finding fun and interesting backdrops for photos. That was the case for Dorianna and Renato’s engagement at the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach. The sun was setting and the warm, golden cast was what we photographers refer to as money light.

We took a stroll around and found several nooks by the docks that had that quintessential Southern California water front flavor. The photogenic couple were all smiles and had a good time, which definitely came through in their beautiful images, full of color, blue skies and palm trees.
