Michelle + John Engagement: Pacific Ocean Park – Santa Monica

I’ve had photo shoots at the Santa Monica pier before, but never like this. Michelle and John met me for their engagement shoot at the pier on a summer Sunday afternoon. I love Pacific Ocean Park for the vibrant colors and fun atmosphere. However, summer time weekend crowds at the pier are no fun at all.

Luckily for us, I arrived early, scouted secluded photo spots and planned a route around the pier’s perimeter to avoid the mass of humanity. Michelle and John were great to work with, and I had a lot of fun photographing them before their wedding day.
