Armando & Mayra Wedding

There’s nothing like a traditional Hispanic wedding. Culture in a wedding is like ketchup on french fries. It just makes it that much more special. Armando and Mayra’s wedding was no exception. It was the easiest thing to take great photos during the ceremony, as both the bride and groom exuded pure excitement.

The portrait session afterward was especially fun. Outside of the banquet hall, we took photos overlooking a large canyon. The red sun was hiding behind a yellow sky because of huge wild fires off in the distance, making for an incredible backdrop. One photo I really liked was the portrait next to the oak tree. The autumn leaves were scattered all over the ground and what was left of the sun’s light gave the sky an amber glow. This particular tree had a special meaning for the both of them, making the photo not only visually pleasing but also an important, meaningful memory that will last a lifetime. An autumn wedding has a certain feel. It made for some unique photos, and I got to practice my Spanish too!
