I knew I was in store for a unique wedding when I met Brasilia for the first time and thought, “What a unique name!” It was a quaint ceremony at a small church in Los Angeles, and an equally charming reception at a banquet hall in Montebello. Brasilia was a breathtaking bride, and I had a great time photographing her wedding, from the traditional church ceremony, to their family and friends on the dance floor.
I worked out a custom package for Sergio and Brasilia, who were on a budget but still wanted quality photography to document their special day. Although I did not photograph the bride and groom’s getting ready process, my photojournalism-style coverage of the ceremony and reception still told the story perfectly.
